Sista New Joint - Renew joints in one step. For refreshing unsightly silicone joints. Easy application on existing and old joints. Perfect color coverage and excellent adhesion. Equipped with long-lasting mildew resistance. Complete set, no additional tools required. Contents: 80 ml. Sista New Joint is the right choice for quickly and easily renewing joints in the bathroom or kitchen. Say goodbye to dirty, cracked, or moldy joints. Old joints can now be renewed effortlessly and without much hassle. There is no need to remove the old joint material. The silicone can be easily applied over the old joint. Long-lasting and professional results are achieved thanks to the mold-resistant formula and self-smoothing nozzle.
Application:
1. Thoroughly clean the old joint before application.
2. Remove the cap and position the bottle at the joint, ensuring that the nozzle is held at a consistent angle.
3. Gently squeeze the bottle while applying. Make sure the nozzle is held at a consistent angle.
4. If there is excess sealant, remove it immediately with a paper towel.
5. Clean the nozzle with a paper towel and then close it with the cap.
6. Wait 6 hours before exposing the new joint to water.

Instructions for use | Substrate pre-treatment: The joint flanks must be stable, clean, dry and free of grease and dust. Remove old sealant, other residues and impurities. To achieve visually perfect joints, we recommend masking the edges of the joint with a suitable adhesive tape, which is removed again immediately after sealing. Extremely absorbent substrates can be slightly moistened to support the adhesion of the edges. Sharp plaster cracks can be opened in a wedge shape to widen the edges. Application: As a general rule, the joint should be at least 10 mm wide - maximum 30 mm (e.g. around doors and windows). Triangular joints should have sides of at least 6 mm. CARTRIDGE: Cut open the cartridge above the thread, e.g. using the Sista/Sista/Pattex smoothing cutter, then screw on the cartridge tip and cut off according to the joint width. Insert the cartridge into the gun. Then apply the sealant without bubbles. DISPENSING: 1) Remove the safety tab at the bottom of the dispensing tip 2) Turn anti-clockwise by (90°C) 3) Dispense by gently pressing down the lever 4) After use, turn the dispensing tip back by (90°C) 5) To protect against drying out, replace the red cap on the dispensing tip. SMOOTHING: Smooth the sealant immediately after spraying with a suitable tool, e.g. Sista/Sista/Pattex smoothing cutter, using clear water. For rough plasters, we recommend structuring with a brush. Cleaning: Fresh and not yet set Sista DRINNEN can be removed with water. The same applies to cleaning tools. Cured sealant can only be removed mechanically. |
