The specified depth measurements refer to the total depth for each unit. The Sirius 3RW40 can be integrated into a motor control system that uses other control device products from Sirius, such as 3-pole overload relays from the 3RV10 series. It allows for two-phase control as well as soft starting and stopping of three-phase asynchronous motors. It features low power loss, with the switching voltage adjustable from 40 to 100% of the operating voltage. Integrated bypass contacts, DIN rail mounting, compact design, and dimensions are included. Status indicator, electronic motor overload and intrinsic device protection, adjustable current limitation, optional thermistor motor protection (up to version S3), integrated remote reset (up to version S3), and integrated auxiliary contacts "holding" and "starting." The holding contact is used for locking when the control is done with a simple on/off switch. The starting signal can be used to operate other parts of the system, such as a pump. An ideal replacement for direct and star-delta starters.
