The Spacial SBM industrial boxes from Schneider Electric are designed for use in industrial machinery and building applications. These wall-mount enclosures feature a one-piece rectangular body with seamed channels on the front and drilled profiles for installing mounting plates and DIN rails on the back. The mounting holes have a diameter of 12.5 mm. The enclosure cover includes a polyurethane gasket and threaded half-turn screws, with the number depending on the version. An M6 x 16 ground connection stud is welded into the cover to provide a potential connection terminal for the enclosure.

Features and benefits include 28 different sizes available, with accessories from the expansion box allowing for up to 42 sizes. Depths of 80 mm and 120 mm are available, with or without pre-installed cable entries. The enclosures provide IP66 protection, meaning they are dust-tight and resistant to strong water jets. They also have external mechanical impact resistance of up to IK10 (20 joules), allowing them to withstand a 5 kg object dropped from a height of 40 cm. Installation can be done with a screwdriver, either directly from the back or using external mounting lugs. The enclosures are protected inside and out by gray (RAL 7035) painted polyester, offering an attractive and robust design to safeguard sensitive electronics.
