Flanging device for copper and aluminum pipes

First, cut the pipe perpendicularly to the pipe axis using the included pipe cutter and deburr the pipe end with a pipe deburrer. Then, slide the flaring nut over the pipe and insert the pipe from below into the appropriate hole of the clamp. Allow the pipe end to protrude from the clamp up to the first step of the adapter. Tighten the clamp, starting with the wing screw closest to the pipe. Place the appropriate adapter onto the pipe and add a drop of oil to the flaring cone. Position the flaring tool over the clamp so that the undercuts on the flaring tool engage with the bottom of the clamp. Align the flaring tool centrally over the adapter and turn the handle down until the adapter touches the clamp. For single flares, follow all steps exactly the same but omit the adapter.
