Milliohmmeter PCE-MO 2001 in a waterproof case / Measurement ranges: 100 μΩ to 2000 Ω. This milliohmmeter, housed in a splash-proof casing, allows for resistance measurements from 100 μΩ to 2000 Ω. The measurement is displayed on a 3½-digit, highly readable LCD screen. A constant current is applied to the test object, and the voltage drop across the object is measured to determine the value. The milliohmmeter can perform resistance measurements on coils, generators, transformers, and circuits, such as parallel and series circuits, as well as switches and relays. It also measures binding energy in mines, airplanes, rail systems, ships, and electrical installations in homes and industries. Continuity tests on ring systems (ring bus) in homes and industries are easily handled by the milliohmmeter. This makes it possible to test compression elements of overhead lines or to conduct testing and maintenance work on control cabinets. Additionally, components such as fuses, connectors, and contacts can be tested for functionality with the milliohmmeter.
