Metal installation channel with intumescent fire protection fabric for fire-safe cable installation. Classified as installation channel EI30, EI60, and EI90 according to EN 13501-2, tested according to EN 1366-5. The channel prevents fire propagation for the classified duration and protects against the effects of a cable fire. Suitable for direct wall and ceiling mounting, installation below raised floors, and on support systems. Tool-free joint assembly with joint connector PLM SI. Only approved prefabricated fittings may be used. The cover snaps on without tools, allowing for quick inspection and reallocation. Offset cover mounting for continuous potential equalization along the entire channel length is possible.
