Unitronic® LiYY is designed for use as a control and signal cable in electronics for computer systems, electronic control and regulation devices, office machines, scales, and more. It is suitable for dry and damp environments and can be occasionally moved. Considering minimal economic quantities, the outer sheath can also be produced in special colors upon request to match the specific color scheme of a device. The cable features a space-saving design due to its small diameter and offers a wide range of applications. It consists of finely stranded/multistranded (0.34 mm²) tinned copper conductors, with a core insulation made of PVC and an outer sheath also made of PVC. The color of the outer sheath is pebble gray (RAL 7032). According to VDE 0812, LiYY data cables have small outer diameters despite a high number of conductors and are flame-retardant according to IEC 60332-1-2.
