The Simplex soft-faced hammer from the 3027 series, featuring a combination of rubber composition and superplastic, is an indispensable companion for a variety of applications and is the best-selling combination from Halder. It is available as a sledgehammer in three versions: the smaller variant has a head diameter of 60 mm, a total weight of 1,810 g, and an overall length of 70 cm, as well as a version with a head diameter of 80 mm, a total weight of 3,170 g, and an overall length of 80 cm (also available with a rubber insert with a stand base). In the larger version, the hammer has a head diameter of 100 mm, a total weight of 5,350 g, and an overall length of 100 cm. The medium-hard rubber insert (series 3202) is highly wear-resistant, shock-absorbing, and odorless, lasting significantly longer than a conventional rubber hammer. The superplastic insert (series 3207) allows for greater striking power than the rubber insert. It is a medium-hard plastic insert made from extruded, extremely homogeneous material. Compared to injection-molded plastic inserts, it is therefore much more wear-resistant and durable. The housing made of tempered cast iron features an integrated handle protection sleeve that ensures high break resistance. The long-fiber, very stable hickory handle is lacquered and ergonomically shaped. According to the clever Simplex principle, all components are interchangeable and can be retrofitted. This not only saves money but also conserves resources.
