Product details

What can you do with it? It is designed for cutting and separating metal, including hardened steel. Ideal for cutting, notching, and trimming all types of metal. Cutting discs make it easier to separate bolts and screws or to notch rusty or damaged bolts and screws for removal with a screwdriver. Reinforced with fiberglass for a longer lifespan. The SC409 series cutting discs are only 0.75 mm thick, allowing for even thinner cuts.

How does it work? It is used with the SC402 mandrel. Dremel's exclusive Easy SpeedClic mechanism allows for quick, easy, and tool-free disc changes: Pull - Twist - Click. For this accessory, we recommend a (two-handed) golf grip and the use of the angle attachment when cutting in hard-to-reach places. To optimize the lifespan of the disc, apply only light pressure and adhere to the speed limitations.

For use on the following materials: This cutting disc can be used on various types of metals such as aluminum, copper, cast iron, or even hardened steel.
