The five precision-ground HSS spiral drills from Bosch drill holes in metal with the highest accuracy. The self-centering drill tip with a cross-cut and a point angle of 135 degrees allows for perfect centering without any wandering. Thanks to the cross-cut drill tip, there is no need for center punching or pre-drilling up to 10 mm in diameter. The precision-ground HSS steel drills operate up to 40% faster and require up to 50% less pressure than conventionally ground HSS drills. The HSS-G spiral drills can drill alloyed and unalloyed steel, cast steel, cast iron, sintered iron, ductile iron, non-ferrous metals, and hard plastics. They are used with drill stands and screwdrivers. The 1/4" hex shank is compatible with cylindrical drill chucks as well as corded or cordless drills.
