The tooth bar made of hardened HSS (high speed steel) and BIM (bi-metal) is reinforced with highly elastic carbon steel, making the blade suitable for cutting hard materials such as hardwood and abrasive wood materials. The large tooth pitch (4 mm) and long length (152 mm) of this product allow cuts in solid wood materials up to 100 mm thick.
