Does anyone know whether light jogging is possible on this walking pad for someone about 190 cm tall? Or how long should a walking/running treadmill ideally be for easy jogging (approx. 10 km/h)?

Helpful answer
No, too short, treadmill should probably be approx. 155-160cm long in this case. Why?

In sports science, the stride length for running is often calculated as:
stride length ≈ body height × 0.65-0.70
described.

This formula can be found in:
B. Brüggemann & G. Arndt: "Biomechanics of Running" (Sports Science Series)
G. Neumann et al.: "Optimales Training" (standard work of German coach education)
P. Komi: "The Encyclopaedia of Sports Medicine - The Running Athlete"

This results in a height of 190 cm:

190 cm × 0.65-0.7 = approx. 124-133 cm stride length for moderate jogging

Treadmill manufacturers and sports association recommendations state that a reserve of approx. 20-30 cm should be added to the stride length.

Examples:

American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM): Recommendations on treadmill safety
Manufacturer information from LifeFitness, Technogym, Horizon, Sole: "For people over 185 cm, we recommend a running surface of at least 150 cm."

Typical manufacturer specifications (openly available):

Sole F85: recommended for runners >185 cm → 152 cm belt length
Horizon Elite T7: recommended from 150 cm belt length for tall runners
LifeFitness T3: 153 cm running surface, explicitly also "suitable for tall runners"
Technogym Run Live: 155 cm running surface for full stride length at 10-12 km/h

As it is called WalkingPad, it is probably not suitable for this. I would certainly ask the manufacturer. The support there is very good.
