The Paul Comp Chain Keeper is a guide rail that prevents the chain from dropping off the front chainring. It is mounted in place of a front derailleur and ensures that the chain stays where it belongs, namely on the chainring when a single is used. The Chain Keeper is highly adjustable to accommodate different chain lines and chainrings.

It is recommended to check your own frame for compatibility with the Chain Keeper.

Do you miss thumb shifters? Are you converting from drop to flat bar? With this part, you can convert bar end shifters to thumb shifters. The shifters are not included but are readily available in 8 to 11 speed versions. At Paul Comp, they swear by thumb shifters because they are precise and smooth to use. The bracket is designed as a hinge clamp, which accommodates handlebar diameters of 22.2mm or 31.8mm. The 22.2mm version fits mountain bike handlebars, while the 31.8mm version mounts to drop bars close to the stem. Paul Comp's thumb shifter mount can exclusively accommodate Shimano handlebar end/down tube shifters. Available in black or silver, with 22.2mm or 31.8mm clamp diameter.
