In tests, they were evaluated for their resistance against fired 6-mm steel balls traveling at a speed of 162 km/h, without breaking, ensuring maximum protection.

The Uvex glasses are extremely easy to care for thanks to the materials used. A special anti-static coating prevents dirt and dust from sticking to the lens, ensuring clear visibility even under extreme conditions. Normal care should be applied, and the use of aggressive chemicals is not recommended due to potential damage.

Robust and scratch-resistant, the lenses are made from highly durable polycarbonate that is resistant down to -40 °C. They feature a special scratch-resistant coating according to EN 1836, except for mirrored lenses.

The unique uvex supravision® technology offers extreme scratch resistance on the outside of the lens and continuous anti-fog protection on the inside.

UV-absorbing filters, integrated directly into the material, provide 100% protection for the retina from UV damage up to 400 nm. All Uvex glasses offer 100% UVA, UVB, and UVC protection.

The uvex full mirror FM features a reflection technology that stands out in design and functionality. The lens, coated with 18 layers of film, has a visual effect and protects against infrared radiation with wavelengths from 780 nm to 1000 nm. Special pigments in the polymer lens activate a filter that eliminates and absorbs this radiation, significantly reducing thermal stress and preventing dehydration and eye strain, which helps avoid gray haze.
