The Akela 45 from Tatonka is a robust trekking backpack for youth. It was designed as a scout backpack but is also suitable for short trekking trips. The main compartment and bottom compartment, along with the zippered side pockets, provide a volume of 45 liters, offering enough storage space for everything important at the campsite or while traveling. Additional gear can be attached to the loops on the front. The insertion channel can be used, for example, to store tent poles. The carrying system features an adjustable back length, helping the wearer to position the hip belt optimally. This allows the fully packed backpack to be carried in a back-friendly manner due to effective load transfer. The main material, made of polyamide, is lightweight yet extremely tear and abrasion-resistant. Thorns or sharp branches pose little threat to it. A PU coating on the inside makes the backpack waterproof.
