The MTN Trainer Lite Mid is a comfortable, supportive, mid-cut boot for three seasons, ideal for rocky and technical terrain. A greater weight means higher energy expenditure. We reduce the weight by using a lightweight yet highly durable textile upper with suede inserts. With the waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining, this shoe is also perfect for mountain use across three seasons – from higher activity levels in summer to rain, mud, or persistent snow.

The fit is what distinguishes each boot. Our mid-cut boot last construction provides ample comfortable space for your toes, along with all-day comfort and support with the optimal degree of flexibility. At the heart of the shoe is the EVA midsole, which ensures ideal cushioning and rebound. For added stability and extra protection, the shoe features a flexible ankle collar, a heel stabilizer, and a rubber toe cap.

Underfoot, the outsole guarantees reliable grip and the necessary versatility for a variety of terrain types, from mud and grass to rock, ice, and snow, thanks to the Pomoco rubber compound and the tread pattern with deep lugs and grooves. The climbing shoe lacing system, which extends all the way to the toe area, allows for easy adjustment for greater precision on technical terrain or a more relaxed fit.
