This hybrid construction warms only where the body needs it, eliminating unnecessary insulation. The down (90/10 high-loft with a fill power of 750) is located only on the upper body, back, and shoulders, while lightweight, abrasion-resistant stretch softshell is used in areas where climbers require more breathability and freedom of movement. However, the true secret of the Agner Hybrid Down Jacket lies in the down chambers, which are not stitched in the usual manner but are welded instead. Laser perforations between the partitions allow air to flow freely and excess body heat to escape. The result is an outstanding warmth-to-weight ratio with excellent compressibility.
