The new Ritchey WCS Toyon stem is inspired by the original award-winning Ritchey C220 stem, giving it a more modern shape and increased stiffness for improved handling and responsiveness. The Toyon retains the clamping area of the C220, which creates a more secure interface by wrapping around the handlebars a full 220°. The screw forces are directed toward the clamp, allowing the body to "hug" the handlebars – a design that is less prone to damage on lightweight handlebars and enables a lighter front plate and stem body without sacrificing strength or stiffness. Built from life and everything that inspires it, the Toyon builds on the proven and celebrated C220 design with a fresh, edgy aesthetic that contributes to the overall harmony of modern frame designs – matching its good looks with increased confidence and a livelier feel, wherever your rides may take you.
