Yes, this is the Velo II.

You can't generalise like that. I've tried it here in the Limmat Valley and some people know it, some don't.

Yes, the mount is already included in the scope of delivery. The Beeline Velo 2 comes with a universal mount equipped with rubber bands to securely attach the device to your bike.

There is also a free (Basic) app. Otherwise there are still costs. You can do a lot with it. Here is another report on this:

I didn't find any such reference in the comments, only in the summary above. However, I can't say why it's there. According to the manufacturer, a smartphone with Bluetooth function is required, but no plan. I'll have this adjusted.

I have used it with .gpx files I copied over from Komoot. It worked very well and in the forest cycling on the weekend I could easily follow the path. Don’t expect every small walking trail though. It’s designed for cycling.
Hello, all the calculations for routing etc. are done via the mobile app. Only the display is shown on the Beeline bike display. So it's not possible without a smartphone.
