Does the navigation of the Beeline Velo 2 GPS also work for hiking trails etc. or is it "only" suitable for roads and forest tracks?

Helpful answer
I have used it with .gpx files I copied over from Komoot. It worked very well and in the forest cycling on the weekend I could easily follow the path. Don’t expect every small walking trail though. It’s designed for cycling.
