The SmarTube family of tubes is made of TPU, a thermoplastic polyurethane characterised by high elasticity and mechanical resistance as well as extreme lightness. The SmarTube Evo has a TPU formula and offers performances in terms of flexibility, smoothness and comfort that can compete with latex tubes while allowing up to 50% less weight compared to the latter. The SmarTube Evo also offers a 5% reduction in rolling resistance compared to the fast Pirelli SmarTube already on the market. This evolution of the famous SmarTube incorporates feedback from the World Tour teams who collaborate with the Milanese tyre manufacturer to help optimise the weight and speed of the P Zero tyres, which will also benefit all loyal followers of the practical "clincher + tube" system.
