The Empire SLX II brings an even slimmer shape to the iconic Giro design, combining a completely new, flat-knit Synchwire upper with the lightest weight, highest comfort, and breathability. The unique knit-mesh construction integrates ventilation directly into the upper and is reinforced with a thermally bonded TPU coating to enhance durability. Seven classically positioned lace eyelets ensure unparalleled comfort and a perfect fit, while power transfer is optimized by a completely new carbon fiber sole that increases stiffness by 20 Nm—all in a featherlight package of just 195 g. The Empire SLX II is the ultimate version of the shoe that has redefined laces in cycling.
