With a consistent 800 lumens, you can ride safely. Additionally, the light intensity automatically adjusts based on your speed to extend battery life. When the sun sets in the terrain, your ride doesn't have to end yet. If your speed changes, the Varia UT800 will adjust accordingly. When paired with compatible Edge bike computers, the brightness is adjusted to ensure you have the right light for safe riding.

Thanks to its smart features, the Varia UT800 can be paired with compatible Edge computers equipped with light sensors. Once paired, the Varia UT800 helmet light automatically adjusts the light intensity based on speed and route profile, providing more light when you ride faster while conserving battery at lower speeds. It also automatically adapts to ambient light and battery capacity, allowing you to ride longer. You can turn the light on or off, control brightness, and more with a button press on the Edge computer or a dedicated remote.

With the Varia, it's easy to adjust the light intensity to suit conditions. The Varia UT800 helmet light has five light modes: Power (800 lumens), Standard (400 lumens), Eco (200 lumens), Night Flash mode (100 to 300 lumens), and Day Flash mode (over 700 lumens). At full intensity, the light is visible during the day from up to 1.6 kilometers away.

The helmet light is small and lightweight. It can be attached to the helmet using the designated mount and weighs less than 140 grams. Cyclists must adhere to local laws regarding the placement of lighting while riding on the road. The Varia UT800 does not comply with the regulations of the StVZO.
