G-1000 is made from a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, waxed with a thin layer of Greenland Wax. The wax provides extra protection against dirt, wind, and moisture and can easily be applied thicker or washed out as needed. In addition to wind and weather protection, G-1000 also shields against harmful sun rays and annoying insect bites.
