For me, even more important than the container the coffee comes in is where the coffee comes from, how fresh the coffee is, whether the farmers were paid fairly, how much energy is used to transport and pack the coffee in spheres and much more. There are much bigger environmental levers there than leaving out recyclable aluminium capsules. Is there more specific guidance here? If CoffeeB creates transparency in these issues, I would also buy the sustainability idea.
