The manufacturer states that the device is equipped with "Precision Obstacle Avoidance", LiDAR or laser navigation and sensors, but not with a camera in the sense of an optical (RGB) camera.

The Dreame D10 Plus Gen2 requires a Wi-Fi connection for the initial set-up and to use the app. After configuration, you can also use the robot in the laundry room without Wi-Fi, but then no app functions such as schedules or no-go zones are possible. Manual operation using the button on the appliance is sufficient for simple cleaning tasks.
