At the end of the handle, the sauce spoon features a ladle for scooping and serving sauces or dressings. The sauce spoon is used for serving at the table and can also be utilized to easily portion small amounts of sauce directly onto the plate. The appropriate sauce spoon is available for every WMF cutlery collection. For the Nuova collection, designer Jutta Keil created special cutlery for delightful moments – from brunch knives to cake servers and salad servers. They are used depending on the situation and taste: egg spoons for soft-boiled breakfast eggs, lasagna servers for hearty pasta bakes, and espresso and latte macchiato spoons for Italian coffee specialties. Designer André Stocker has creatively explored the tongs in the collection, developing universal tongs as well as pasta tongs and asparagus and perforated serving tongs. The latter, for example, can grasp mozzarella and tomatoes – leaving the marinade on the plate. The special cutlery and dimensionally stable tongs are made of polished Cromargan and their simple, timeless design complements any tableware. WMF offers the cutlery pieces individually or in sets, and they are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
