Product details

The Tado Smart Radiator Thermostat 12-Pack expansion set includes twelve smart radiator thermostats designed for individual room temperature control. These devices enable precise temperature management for each radiator in your home through smartphone app control, requiring the Tado bridge for full functionality. Each thermostat features a digital display showing current temperature settings and allows manual adjustment directly on the device. The system supports programmable weekly schedules to optimize heating patterns and reduce energy consumption. With dimensions of approximately 8.5 cm in height and 5.5 cm in diameter per unit, these thermostats install directly onto existing thermostatic radiator valves marked with numbers 1 through 5. The system's geofencing capability automatically adjusts temperatures based on occupancy patterns, though this feature requires an optional Auto Assist subscription. Each thermostat operates on standard AA batteries with an average battery life of 18 months under normal usage conditions. The thermostats communicate via wireless protocol to the central bridge, which connects to your home Wi-Fi network. This expansion pack is specifically designed for use with existing Tado starter kit systems and is not compatible with all radiator valve types. Installation involves removing existing thermostatic heads and mounting the smart thermostats in their place, with the Tado mobile application guiding users through setup and configuration. The system maintains temperature accuracy within 0.5°C and supports temperature ranges from 5°C to 30°C. Each unit weighs approximately 150 grams and features a white ABS plastic housing with touch-sensitive controls. The system provides individual room control capabilities for up to twelve radiators, allowing different temperature settings for bedrooms, living areas, and bathrooms based on usage patterns and personal preferences.
