It's the same machine. Brand (Breville, Solis, Stollar, Gastroback, ...) and model names differ from country to country. Equivalent model from Breville is BES870XL. What I've also found out is that included accessories are not the same: Breville BES870XL should come with both, pressurized and non-pressurized portafilters; my Solis Typ 115 only had non-pressurized included.

it can fill two standard coffee cups just about completely. however, it is difficult, as it is more of an esspresso machine, to make a good coffee. i have tried quite a few different beans and can only make a really good coffee with the maxhavelar coffee marimba (or something like that). esspresso is no problem. from a roastery in schlieren i also once found beans for a good coffee.

The water tank of the machine has space for a water filter. Unfortunately, I can't find it on Galaxus. Solis itself has one on offer, but it looks a little different from the one I have installed: https://www.solis.ch/de.... However, I think it should fit. In the meantime, however, I pre-filter the water so that the water tank doesn't calcify.

We've had the machine for some time. Nothing rattles, but of course it's not quiet because of the compressor. The steam nozzle is good, first a little splash of water, then just steam. It makes good milk foam. It heats up quickly, but you have to empty the drip tray quite often because it flushes the old water out of the boiler every time you start it.

The warm-up time is about right. However, it is recommended (as it also says in the manual) to first run a cup through empty, i.e. only hot water. Then the following coffee will be hot enough. I don't know how to heat milk and make coffee at the same time. But you usually do it one after the other anyway...

I would send the machine in immediately for testing. The fact that the contactor flies is not a good sign and indicates a short circuit in the electrics/electronics.

Hello Adis I actually only ever make espresso with the machine for myself and my guests. After a bit of experimentation, I found the perfect grind for the coffee beans from the roastery. Despite the automation, I think you have to experiment a little with this machine too. As for your question: I never need "pre-ground coffee" but I could imagine that this is related to the grind of the already "pre-ground coffee". Otherwise, I would ask for advice on this from a local roaster. I know roasteries where you can also go directly with your own machine, so that you can have the perfect coffee experience at home.

Is perhaps the piston clogged in one side? Or do you have the right filter? Here is a tutorial. https://youtu.be/6_Ut4qfgQR... Good luck!

I have removed the filter after the drain and pre-filter the water with a Brita filter, as I also need this otherwise. It works like this without any problems.

The ground coffee must be pressed really firmly into the portafilter. Also make sure that the grind is very fine. Then it should work.

Our machine has been in use for about 1 month and not everything is running smoothly yet. We have the same problem with the amount of powder. We have already tried a few things: Changed the grind, reduced the amount of powder. However, this always causes the pressure to change again. When you switch from a capsule machine to this portafilter, you are really challenged. We do get a really good espresso and coffee in the meantime, but you need patience. But, as already noted, with a huge mess, because the foaming of the milk also works well, but splashes. In other words, you are constantly cleaning the "lady". Our interim conclusion: we wouldn't give it away, but it's not yet "love at first sight" - we're still working on it.

The colour makes the difference, the black version has more plastic and or painted parts. But anyway, usually the difference is also the demand that makes the price.
