How big cups can you program your machines for? Ours can be programmed to a maximum of 1.8 dl in both single and double cup mode, which is a joke, especially for 2 cups.

it can fill two standard coffee cups just about completely. however, it is difficult, as it is more of an esspresso machine, to make a good coffee. i have tried quite a few different beans and can only make a really good coffee with the maxhavelar coffee marimba (or something like that). esspresso is no problem. from a roastery in schlieren i also once found beans for a good coffee.

This is an espresso machine. If you want to drink a lungo, you should let an espresso out of this machine, which is then diluted with hot water (the machine has an extra tap for this). It is recommended to grind fresh coffee beans shortly before brewing. Then you will get the right pressure and the right brewing time for the perfect taste. Many coffee beans from the mass market are not fresh enough to get a good coffee out of this machine. If the beans are too old and too dry, the machine cannot build up pressure and the coffee becomes watery to undrinkable. Even extreme pressing of the powder into the sieve does not help. The double-walled sieve provides a remedy. This sieve increases the pressure during brewing and thus makes it possible to use even dry beans / dry powder to a certain degree.
