In terms of temperature, it's fine because you can set the temperature. I don't know how hot air reacts with Tupperware. I would use it in the Foody myself.
Yes, temperature and time can be freely set. A tone sounds when the oven has heated up or the time has elapsed. As far as I know, the modes only define how the oven heats (convection, top/bottom heat, etc.) and they suggest a temperature and time. As far as I know, it is not possible to define your own modes.
The tray probably doesn't fit, the interior is narrower than 40cm. However, the oven is supplied with enough matching trays. The 30 cm round tray will probably just fit. The grids are exactly 30 cm deep
