Solo, without battery and charger. I have a piece of occasion for sale. One year old, almost never used. Also without battery and charger.
all 18V batteries from makita are compatible.
the more Ah the battery has, the more minutes the appliance can be used.
i use 5Ah batteries, which are super good for the vacuum cleaner.
I would also say a 4Ah or even a 3 Ah would be sufficient.

Thank you for your comments. However, the question was regarding a hose, which then extends the use accordingly
The 18V LXT series of batteries are compatible so if you have 18V LXT cordless screwdriver, impact drill or similar, you can use the same batteries for both products. More info can be found for example from here: https://www.makitatools.com/products...
