The large jug (without the inner jug) holds 2.4 litres. The inner container, which also contains the filter, holds 1 litre. I fill the inner container (1 litre of fresh water) The water then flows through the filter and goes into the large jug. It is advisable to use this litre of filtered water and then filter a new litre. Of course, the filter jug can also be refilled. However, the displacement from the inner jug to the large jug makes it impossible to fill up to a total volume of 2.4 litres.

4 weeks is misleading. The filter is designed for 150 litres until it should be replaced. That is more logical for me. Because 4 weeks says nothing about the performance of the filter medium.
