It’s not compatible; I bought it and had to return it; for 2p there’s only few models available for induction; if I understood correctly the serving amount limits the quantity of material therefore for larger models it can be easily compatible while for smaller sizes it’s not

I don't remove the sealing ring for precisely this reason. It fits so well and is so tight that, in my opinion, no dirt should collect underneath it. Rinse, wipe with a damp cloth and leave to dry. That's all I actually do

According to the supplier's specifications, this espresso maker is suitable for induction hobs. Thank you for pointing this out, I will pass this on internally to the responsible department and hope for a prompt correction.

The "New Venus (4 T.)" from Bialetti has a copper-coloured surface, but it is not made of real copper. The main material of the body is 18/10 stainless steel, while the colour is copper. The jug is not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher. It should be cleaned with water only, without the use of detergents.

According to Bialetti, the pot is suitable for all types of cooker, including gas. If it is to be used for campfires, it is best to ask the manufacturer: "Customer service You can reach us Mon - Thurs 09:00 - 16:00 Fri 09:00 - 14:00 Tel.: 0941-59 855 82 68 info@bialetti-shop.de'

It looks like a defective pressure relief valve to me. Do not use it under any circumstances and return it for repair.
