PERPETUE. In collaboration with the BIG GAME design studio, Opinel has returned to the brand's roots. To the roots of design, with allusions to the historical shapes of Opinel knives. To the roots of the family, by honouring a woman: PERPETUE Opinel (1813-1858), the grandmother of the company's founder, Joseph Opinel. Alongside her husband Victor-Amedee, she forged nails in the heart of the Alps, in Savoie. Opinel dared to imagine that she loved objects with a simple, timeless aesthetic, robust and durable. The PERPETUE cutlery set box consists of 4 knives with a pleasantly curved handle and micro-serrated blade, 4 forks, spoons and teaspoons with clean lines. The Perpétue cutlery set is made of stainless steel, monobloc, dishwasher-safe. The knives are made of X20Cr13 steel, forks, spoons and teaspoons are made of X5CrNi18-10 steel.
