The rain sensor RS reports rain to the downstream sensor relay LRW12D. A standard telephone cable J-Y(ST)Y 2x2x0.8 or equivalent is sufficient as a connection line. The permissible cable length is 100 m. It features a compact plastic housing measuring 118 x 96 x 77 mm, with a protection class of IP44 and an operating temperature range of -30 °C to +50 °C. A power supply, including heating for the rain sensor (1.2 W), is required, either the SNT61-230V/24V DC or SNT12-230V/24V DC. An LED lights up green when power is supplied and yellow when it detects rain.
