In addition, the twin needle function allows two upper threads to be used at the same time to create colourful accents or to reinforce hard-wearing areas with seam reinforcements.

The thread tension can also be adjusted for all other work steps, such as free-arm sewing by removing the accessory compartment or reverse sewing, using the comfort function. The stitch length up to 5 mm and the stitch width up to 7 mm can also be customised. The levelling button fixes the presser foot quickly and easily. As a result, it always glides straight and evenly over thick or irregular layers of fabric and hems. Changing the presser feet is a breeze thanks to Brother's snap-on technology.
