The original Bialetti Moka Express coffee maker is undoubtedly the most famous and popular single device for coffee preparation in the world. With the Moka pot, you can brew a strong and full-bodied Italian Moka coffee, which also serves as an excellent base for milk coffee. The iconic design and functionality by Alfonso Bialetti have been known since 1933. Made in Italy.
Moka pots come in various sizes, as the filter of the pot must always be completely filled with coffee. Otherwise, the water flows too quickly through the filter, resulting in weak coffee. By using two or more Moka pots of different sizes, you can flexibly prepare a larger amount of coffee at once. The Moka Express coffee maker is made of aluminum and can be used on electric and gas stoves. We also offer stainless steel Moka pots that work on induction cooktops.
For the Moka pot, coffee that is ground finer than for filter preparation but coarser than for real espresso coffee is used. We recommend freshly roasted coffee beans and a high-quality coffee grinder.
