On 22.1.2023 we put the automatic feeder into operation with new Duracel batteries. On 4.5. these were already so empty that the feeder no longer worked. Replacement with Varta long live. On 17.5 it was already over again. Replacement with MPower. It lasted until 22.5. The measurements of the batteries after the switch-off still showed a residual capacity. In addition, the flap remained open from time to time. Seems to be a real battery guzzler!!!!! The machine is only used by 1 cat. Does anyone know the solution?

Hello - has the problem been solved?
Our first batteries lasted only 6 weeks, I changed to Duracel and after only one week the light is flashing red again - that can't be right?

Hello - in our house the batteries regularly last 1 year - even with the fat one, who checks every hour whether the bowl has miraculously filled up again. Maybe we got a faulty electrical system - we have three bowls and they all last 1 year.

Hello everyone, we had the same problem. We ordered two automatic feeders, one works perfectly and still with the first set of batteries, the second device had to be changed every week, despite different batteries.
We had registered the devices with SurePetCat, after a short phone call describing the problem, the device was replaced without any problems.
