Is it possible to turn off the LED light on the pump? I cannot find instructions or documentation about it anywhere

There is no way to switch off the light

Unfortunately not. The LED is encapsulated in the pump. I have turned the pump so that the LED is facing backwards, so it is not quite as bright. Alternatively, mask it off.
