Hello together We have installed the tracker and are now tracking ourselves instead of the buffalo. Uninstalled everything, started all over again, same result. Does anyone know what we are doing wrong? The official site of the manufacturer is a joke and not very helpful...

Please give a little more detail about what is not working for you, I don't understand your question.
Basically, you have to be aware that LoRa has very low transmitting/receiving power and therefore no uninterrupted communication is possible. On the other hand, as others have already mentioned, this technology requires massively less power than LTE, i.e. the "mobile" network. In addition, everything would be pointless if the GPS were still active without interruption. Again, if the GPS were only activated sporadically, it would need some time to determine the location and then send it. I also don't understand when and how which data is sent, because when a position arrives, the cat is already over the hills.
It basically serves its purpose in that I can now see historically (not in real time) where the cat has been and where he is staying. But tracking him down with it I see as quite impractical, moreover, as soon as he is under roof or in buildings nothing works anymore, i.e. there is no positional suofate. It still has some potential for optimisation, unfortunately the company's homepage is somehow just a marketing thing, I don't see any functioning support...

Update: In the meantime, the thing works quite reliably. We simply installed and uninstalled everything until it finally worked. The battery lasts a week.
