Petkit Pura Max (Self-cleaning litter tray)

Petkit Pura Max

Self-cleaning litter tray

Question about Petkit Pura Max

Despite the fragrance spray, our PuraMax smells (almost) as bad as a normal litter tray after a faeces. What are we doing wrong? Fragrance spray is linked, still has enough and bag is correctly attached and should be reasonably tight. is there anything else to consider?

Have you installed an odour eliminator in the waste bin under the rubber cover? Unfortunately, this is not included in the scope of delivery. I would try one of these.

Have you thought about changing the N50 block in the poo tray? It has a big impact on odours! (It's the little square translucent beige block that goes into the orange frame when you open the drawer where the bag is).
Then, did you remember to set the spray to auto mode (so that it sprays after each use)?
The last two parameters are either in the food (cereals in the food or too many additives) or in the urine, which can indicate a kidney problem. But this is also present in normal litter.

I had the same problem once. Check from the inside whether the lid of the waste bin closes properly. This should happen automatically after cleaning, but it very rarely stays open.
