However, Sera Toxivec does even more: it reliably binds toxic heavy metals such as copper, zinc, lead, and even mercury. This way, these pollutants can no longer pose a danger to the fish as well as the beneficial bacteria in the biofilter. The number of water changes is thus reduced. If necessary, i.e., in cases of particularly high contamination levels, Sera Toxivec easily allows for a higher dosage. A second application after one to two hours is also possible.
