Product details

The Bark centrepiece was designed by Michel Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui. Originally from Belgium, they have chosen Italy - Tuscany to be precise - as the centre of their lives. Their Casa Boucquillon is a place to experiment, meditate and work, where people live hand in hand with nature. As the name suggests, Bark refers to the bark of trees. The perforations reflect knots in the wood, the concave, elongated form the structure of the trunk. The result is a highly poetic yet functional product. Thanks to its modelled profile and substantial dimensions, it can be used both as a container and as a centrepiece.
