The IRIScan Desk Pro 5 does not work with MacOSX alone, but it does work with the Parallels Desktop 15 emulation software on my MacBook Pro (2018).

System requirements: Operating system Winows / and above.The user manual states:
"WARNING: This software version will not work on an Apple macOS or Linux system."

According to the support team, a Mac version is planned for the end of 2020 at the earliest. Can be used with Parallels or Bootcamp, although for me the programme runs much better with the latter.
