Is it possible with this printer to feed the paper to be printed straight through via the manual paper feed (e.g. for thicker paper)? If not, with which colour laser printer would that be possible?

Running straight through works. But I don't know up to what paper thickness.

Yes, you can open a flap at the back. I've already done that with labels (from the sheet feeder).
I mean, the printer driver even tells you when you set it to labels.
