I wanted to ask if I need a Hue Bridge or Hue Sync Box if I only need the sync for Netflix and co? My TV does not find a Hue Sync app but my Apple TV does. Is that enough?

These are "dumb" lights. You need a Hue bride to control ANY Hue light.

The sync box super expensive and is only used to control a Hue LED strip to change colors and follow the picture on the TV.
