On the one hand, the device has an automatic page feeder so that several pages (approx. 6 work well) can be scanned in one piece to form a document. Secondly, after a scan, the software asks if you want to add another document or save the PDF.
Save as should also work, but I have never tried it. Different scan templates can be defined, which determine the quality and type of the scan, but also the storage location and the naming scheme of the file (e.g. with time stamp).
I find the product super practical and handy.
