Following the sensational success of "Die Schule der magischen Tiere" parts 1 and 2, which attracted over 4.7 million visitors each and became the most successful German film of the year, the sequel is now coming to the big screen as well as an audio play for children's rooms. Ida wants to perform with her class on Forest Day to protect the local forest. Even Helene is participating, hoping to build her influencer channel. What no one knows is that her family is on the brink of bankruptcy, and she urgently needs followers to avert financial ruin. Additionally, she is pressured by her magical animal, the luxury cat Karajan. Silas, Jo's best friend, also receives a magical animal: the vegan crocodile Rick. Silas likes Helene and believes that wearing a designer shirt will give him a chance with her. To raise money for it, he blackmails younger students but gets caught by Jo. Jo is already angry because Silas missed the rehearsals for Forest Day and is jealous that Jo spends so much time with Ida. Helene also creates additional conflicts: she convinces the director of the natural history museum to let the class perform as a show act at her icon's fashion show. However, the show takes place on the same day as Ida's Forest Day.
