Is this a 24MP and 300dpi document scanner? Any suggestions otherwise, preferably from Taiwan (not China) and open source software?

Hello, In fact it's more like a camera that photographs documents, not really a scanner. The software is not free and is only available on DVD. Overall, I'm rather disappointed: I thought I could scan a lot of documents quickly, but they're just photos: so for a book, for example, the curvature of the pages isn't eliminated properly. Hi, I don't think it can be used with Mac because it requires the CamBook software from Mysher, which is only available for Windows, see https://en.mysher.com/product_7...
